Our Story
I was born and raised in the South of Haiti. Growing up I remember
every evening sitting with my siblings next to my mom and waiting for my dad to come home to bring us special treats bought from one of our local bakers. I can never forget the taste of those cookies and pastries! The freshness and flavors are incomparable. Back then our people used to focus on quality products and great flavor; but nowadays when you take a bite of a pastry you feel like you’re eating a mouth full of sugar… Maude Specialties guaranties and is determined to bring freshness, product quality, and local flavor back! I believe that sugar is just ONE of the many ingredients in baking, and it needs to be controlled.
